What is OpenDNS?

I heard from many internet users among my friends, they have been using fast internet connection by using openDNS. Is it true? OK! let's see what is openDNS?

openDNS means - Open Domain Name System. This is an internet service. Actually you can speed up your internet connection. openDNS is not only supported to get little acceleration to your connection, but also it protect you network system by blocking malware and adware.

How to make settings on your computer?

First you need to go 'Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> change adapter setting' Then you can see adapters which already installed in your computer. next step is to select the right adapter that you have been using to go Internet. Right click on it. -> properties -> internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)'

Then select in the dialog box which will appear after clicking on last task. Type 208.67.222.222 under -> use the following DNS addresses option, Preferred DNS server and to alternative DNS server, type 208.67.220.220. After making the configuration Restart your computer.
