Different Between 32 and 64 bit operating system

Basically the processor models are 32 or 64 bit and if an operating system concerned with these bit values, it will define as 32 or 64 bit operating system. Thus 64 bit programs can work with only 64 bit OS, but 32 bit programs allow to work with both 32 and 63 bit OS.

However, some problems will occur when using 32 bit programs in 64 bit OS because maximum RAM capacity that 32 bit OS can have is 3.41 GB. Nevertheless 64 bit computer can use RAM memory up to 128 GB. So it is better to install 64 bit OS when you have RAM more above than 4 GB. Then you can use entire memory and speed up your system. But 64 bit OS has some disadvantages. The well known factor is OS can't access some programs. So if you have old hardware or old programs, you better to have 32 bit OS. Whatever, the new programs are designed to work with 64 bit OS. 64 bit will increase up your system. So conclusion is 64 bit processor is much better than 32 bit.
