Let's find out more about data vs information. Example 1: Here I mentioned results of three student in last term test following with their names and marks.
Bill: 65, 91, 57, 96. Rizm: 64, 84, 49, 93 and Curli: 91, 59, 72, 89. Actually, if we write names and marks separately, it will be difficult to get an idea about the subject and marks and who is the best student as well.
But these names and marks can be tabulated as follows.

Now, you can see clearly teacher can be able to get the required information using this table to select the best student (the total score of each student, their average score, individual skill of each student per subject and the rank). Thus teacher can take important decisions by information which was tabulated as above.
