How to use subtitle for any movie

English is an international language. So if a movie had released, they would have already released English subtitle as well. Suppose that a china movie is running in there china language, if there has been English subtitles we can  understand the conversation between the actors which they have been acting. If you are interesting about the subtitle of any film you can download it on

• opensubtitle

It will download the subtitle file. The file format is .srt. If you want subtitle, you have to save it in the folder which contains the media file. Note that rename the srt file as media file name, but don't change the format. Then you can use your subtitles during movie time.

How to edit subtitles.

The file which you have downloaded from internet, you have to open with it in Notepad.

You can those highlighted lines, Make sure to change it only. Otherwise you change time session, you can't get the subtitle at the right time when the movie is running on.

Save as : select Encoding as UTF - 8. if you have used Sinhalese font.
