CPU clock speed
Why your computer is not working after over clock the processor. Image your processor normal clock speed is 133MHz, when you have increased it up to 166MHz the computer speed was getting up. But when you make the clock speed as 200MHz the monitor wouldn't be worked well. No signals come to the monitor as well as no beep sound. Lets see how to solve that problem at home.
If we increased up the clock speed in Motherboard the processor will over clock. However, computer speed is up when speed was set as 166MHz. But when we increased it up to 200MHz, the processor is not allowed to access the value. 200MHz value was saved in to the BIOS setting, then we can't change that value because the monitor is still no signal. To avoid this problem we have to change the clock speed.
Disable the main power which is supplied to the computer and remove the battery which is consisted in Motherboard. After 10minutes later install the battery to Motherboard. If the problem didn't solve, Remove CMOS clear Jumper and set it by changing its plug.
The problem wasn't solved so far, remove the battery and hold the Power on button for 30 seconds. Then start the computer. Now you can see the BIOS settings change into default values. Then you can set the CPU clock speed to 166MHz. Speed up your computer. enjoy !
