Under the VLC, it includes plenty of features that you might not have known it could do. When you need to download any videos on YouTube, you have to install free download manager application or use online link to download that YouTube video. Now you do not need to have any tools, you can use best hidden features on VLC. Follow these simple step to download your video.
1. Visit YouTube and copy the link of your video
2. Open VLC player and go to 'Media -> Stream -> Network
3. Copy the link to 'Please enter a network URL' that you got from YouTube
4. Then select 'Play' on Stream tab drop down list. (blue mark area)
5. While playing the video on VLC, go to Tools -> Codec -> Information
6. Copy the link in yellow area and paste it on a browser URL. Then you can download the video by right click on the black area of the video by selecting 'Save as' option.
