Make a network between two computers by a cable

You need two computers which is having the facilities of drivers, network ports and a network cable.

Go to - Network and Sharing Center.

Then select Change Adapter Settings from left side of the window.

Then select LAN adapter icon and select properties using the right click on it.

Select Network Protocol Version 4 (TCP IPv4) in network tab and chose properties. Now use can see there is a radio button under 'Use the following IP Address' Select it and give IP address as follows.


Computer I
-------------- IP Address 192.168.1.2
-------------- Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Computer II - 'Use the following DNS server address'
-------------- IP Address 192.168.1.3
-------------- Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

Then we have to make a Share Folder a Drive Partition. To do this go to a driver partition and right click, then use the option 'share with' - Now use can see the drive by using Start --> Computer --> Networks
